Welcome to Trik-Dyno

Originally begun in 1995 under the name ESDyno, TRIK-DYNO (pronounced with a long " i ") was established to provide performance measurement products to Radio Control (RC) and Kart racing enthusiasts. Today we are a team of individuals with diverse engineering backgrounds in: automotive racing; automotive and aerospace research and development; and the design and manufacture of sophisticated test equipment. Our practical and specialized experience in data acquisition and performance measurement systems allows us to provide superior engineered products to meet today's demands for optimum engine performance.

What is a Dyno?

Dyno is short for Dynamometer. In simple terms, its an apparatus for measuring the mechanical power. The dyno applies a resistive load to the operating engine. Instruments connected to the dyno measure this load (torque) and when recorded relative to engine speed provides the user with valuable diagnostic and performance information.

Is to provide accurate and reliable diagnostic test equipment and dynamometer software that anyone who is into small engines can afford, with the goal of raising the performance bar at every race event.
